Pest management plays a major role in America, allowing people to live healthier, more prosperous, and comfortable lives.
The President of the United States has acknowledged pest management professionals, for the past 27 years, for protecting America’s health, property, and food and for contributing to an overall healthier environment in America.

The National Pest Management Association, a non-profit trade association established in 1933, supports the pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of public health, food and property, reflected both in the continuing education of the pest control professional and the dissemination of timely information to homeowners and businesses. Their membership includes more than 6,000 national and international pest management companies. The association conducts public education and awareness activities, represents its members in legislative and regulatory initiatives, and provides technological training and reference tools to members on advances within the industry.

The pest management industry, a family orientated industry, welcomed Walsh as their key note convention speaker. Walsh, a tireless advocate for victim’s rights and missing children, appears weekly on the national TV show, America’s Most Wanted. Walsh, sponsored by FMC Products, was an appropriate inspirational speaker to the pest management industry as prevention is imperative to both industries.
